About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel for its Institutional Legal team, with a focus on derivatives, international markets, and professional trading clients. The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor with at least 5 years' of experience in a financial services institution or a law firm supporting such clients, and must have a strong background in product development, regulatory, and negotiation skills, particularly within the traditional derivatives, structured finance, or prime brokerage sectors. This role demands a professional with a deep understanding of UK/EU regulatory regimes applicable to financial instruments and crypto assets, and a proven track record of challenging the status quo in the legal and regulatory landscape. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects to launch innovative products, providing legal advice on complex issues, and negotiating agreements with strategic partners in the finance and digital currency space. Applicants for the Senior Counsel position at the company should be prepared to work in an intense, high-pressure environment and be passionate about the intersection of crypto and traditional global markets.
