Location: Halethorpe, MD - Local from DMV area

Duration: Full time



Position Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Salesforce Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that Salesforce is effectively leveraged to support our organizational goals, enhance user experience, and streamline processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system needs and implement solutions to improve productivity and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Salesforce Administration & Maintenance:
  • Manage daily operations of the Salesforce platform, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Perform system configurations, customizations, and maintenance tasks, including user management, profiles, roles, and permissions.
  • Conduct routine audits, data quality checks, and system backups.
  • User Support & Training:
  • Provide technical support and training to Salesforce users, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Create and maintain user documentation, training materials, and best practice guidelines.
  • Customization & Optimization:
  • Customize objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and page layouts to meet business needs.
  • Develop and implement automation processes, including flows, process builders, and approval workflows.
  • Optimize Salesforce capabilities by integrating third-party tools and APIs.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
  • Design and deliver dashboards, custom reports, and KPIs to support decision-making across departments.
  • Monitor and analyze system usage, identifying areas for improvement and enhancement.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders:
  • Work closely with business teams to gather requirements, identify pain points, and design solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with developers and external consultants for advanced customizations and project implementations.
  • Compliance & Security:
  • Ensure adherence to data security policies and compliance standards.
  • Manage system updates and monitor for new Salesforce releases, evaluating and deploying relevant features.

Qualifications:


Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201 or higher).
  • Proficiency in Salesforce features
  • Strong understanding of data management principles and relational databases.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience with third-party Salesforce integrations (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Klipfolio, Tableau, Office365, Zapier or other CRM tools).
  • Experience with LMS systems (e.g. Canvas)
  • Advanced certifications, such as Salesforce Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder.
