Job Title: Project Manager, Technology

Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid: Onsite Tuesdays–Thursdays)

Industry: Wireless Technology

Pay: $90,000 – $95,000

About Our Client:

Our client is a prominent nonprofit trade association in the wireless technology sector. Their mission supports innovation and collaboration across wireless carriers, infrastructure firms, and technology partners. They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager, Technology to support and drive several technical initiatives in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.

Job Description:

The Project Manager will support key initiatives within the organization’s technology department. These include efforts such as branded caller ID solutions, cybersecurity test environments, and cross-industry technical collaboration. This position involves high levels of stakeholder engagement, project coordination, and process documentation, reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate several strategic programs within the technology team
  • Maintain detailed project timelines, tracking deliverables and stakeholder communications
  • Serve as a liaison between internal departments, external consultants, and industry partners
  • Organize meetings, draft project updates, and manage event logistics for working groups
  • Support the planning and facilitation of leadership meetings and departmental events
  • Prepare and maintain project-related documentation, including user guides and contracts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, regulatory, and marketing

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in a technical or project-related field)
  • 3–5 years of experience in project/program management
  • Prior experience in wireless technology, telecommunications, or tech-adjacent industries preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project tools (MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet, or Trello)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable with external stakeholder engagement

Additional Details:

  • Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (37.5 hours/week)
  • Start Date: Targeting early September
  • Overtime: Eligible with prior approval
  • Interview Process:
  • Initial screening with Addison Group
  • Virtual pre-screen (15–20 mins)
  • First-round interview with senior leadership
  • Final interview with department team
