Job Description:
Education and/or Experience:
* Bachelor"s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
* 0-2 years of experience in a supply chain or planning role, with a foundational understanding of production and operations.
Knowledge/Skills:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Knowledge of production and operations processes.
* Ability to use metrics to track and manage production efficiency and material flow.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
* Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma is a plus.
* Eagerness to learn new processes and tools for efficient planning.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: N/A
Preferred Skills :
* Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
* Basic knowledge of Bill of Materials (BoM) management and production routing processes.
* Familiarity with inventory management techniques such as cycle counting, ABC analysis, and demand forecasting.
* Experience with non-conforming material handling, including documentation, scrap processing, and repair order management.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with project managers, production teams, and logistics.
Physical Demands:
May require long periods of sitting.
May require lifting ? 20 lbs.
May require prolonged repetitive use of upper extremities.
Work Environment:
Typical office environment requiring the use of typical office equipment (i.e. computers, phones, etc.) Computer keyboarding, computer monitor and mouse use including reaching forward, grasping, fringer and wrist manipulation and neck bending and turning; near vision is necessary for computer monitor use.
