About the Unit:
The Pharmacy Department provides pharmacy services for Inpatients, ED, Surgery, and the Infusion Center at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital.

Scope of Work:
The Pharmacy Technician, under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist, processes, prepares, and delivers medications and supplies, working with multiple medication automation systems. The Pharmacy Technician works in complex pharmacy areas, including Sterile Product Compounding, Controlled Substance Handling, and Inventory Management.

Job Summary
Under the direction of a Pharmacist, provides technical assistance, processing and preparing medications and supplies. Works with multiple medication automation systems. Delivers medications and supplies to patient care areas. Triages phone calls and messages from multidisciplinary team members.
Essential Functions
Qualifications
Ideal candidate will possess both Full Pharmacy Technician License and Certification, such as PTCB Certification
Strong IV experience would be a great plus
This is a Rotating Shift Position (1st/2nd Shift, primarily on 1st Shift)
You will know your schedule weeks in advance
8.5 Hr. Shifts starting at 6:30 a.m. or 7 a.m., or starting at 2:30 pm. or 3 p.m.
Weekend Rotation is every other weekend
