Distribute promotional materials and maintain a log of outreach efforts.
Partner with the future Dog Sitter in coordinated outreach activities.
Share community feedback and suggestions with the Owner.
Training & Development: Complete all required GM training modules and ensure staff are assigned and complete their training programs. Track and follow up on progress.
Team Leadership: Hire, train, manage, and motivate staff. Conduct reviews and create a positive work culture.
Operations: Manage facility maintenance, compliance visits, vendor relations, inventory, and supplies.
Customer Service: Handle inquiries, complaints, and service issues with a focus on client retention.

Financial Management: Work within budgets, monitor payroll, maintain proper staffing, and review financial reports.
Scheduling & Payroll: Create schedules, approve time-off requests, and ensure payroll accuracy.
Community Engagement: Continue fostering relationships with shelters, organize adoption drives, and coordinate outreach events.
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years in management, preferably in pet care, hospitality, retail, or operations.
Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes.
Proven ability to lead outreach and grassroots marketing efforts.
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Outgoing, friendly, and passionate about connecting with pet parents.
Reliable transportation for local travel.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs for event materials.
Why Join The Dog Stop® Kent?
