Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled ESRI GIS Developer to design, develop, and maintain GIS-based applications and tools using the ESRI ArcGIS platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GIS concepts, experience working with ArcGIS APIs, and preferably hands-on experience with Qt (C++ or PyQt) for building cross-platform desktop applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and support custom GIS applications using ESRI ArcGIS APIs (JavaScript, Python, or .NET).
Integrate ESRI GIS functionality into desktop applications using Qt Framework (C++ or PyQt).
Work on map visualizations, spatial analysis, geocoding, and routing functionalities.
Develop and maintain GIS services using ArcGIS Enterprise/Server.
Perform spatial database design, development, and optimization (e.g., PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server).
Collaborate with UI/UX designers and analysts to create interactive and user-friendly GIS tools.
Troubleshoot application bugs, perform code reviews, and ensure code quality.
Participate in the planning and design of GIS architecture and services.
Document application workflows, configurations, and data schemas.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, GIS, Geography, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in GIS application development with ESRI technologies.
Proficient in one or more of the following: ArcGIS API for JavaScript, ArcPy, ArcGIS Runtime SDKs (for .NET or Qt).
Experience working with ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal, and ArcGIS Pro customization.
Strong understanding of spatial data, projections, and geoprocessing workflows.
Solid programming skills in JavaScript, Python, C++, or C#.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience developing Qt-based desktop applications using C++ or Python (PyQt/PySide).
Familiarity with QGIS or other open-source GIS tools is a plus.
Experience integrating GIS with REST APIs, Web Services, or third-party platforms.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
